WDC’s At the Helm of Conservation programs create positive and safe interactions between boaters and whales. 

WDC works with our government and conservation partners through the Whale SENSE program with commercial whale watching companies along the Atlantic and southeast Alaska who commit to safely operating their boats around whales and following regional whale watching guidelines. The See A Spout program gives boaters the tools they need to be prepared to share the seas with whales along the US Atlantic seaboard.
