Adopt Orca Whale Holly today! Holly was born in 1980. Her babies Surf, Current, and Cameleon are named after places around British Columbia. Holly and her family are among the few groups seen in Canada’s Johnstone Strait during the winter, but they also reach southeast Alaska, so their range is more than 300 miles/ 500 kilometers!
WDC’s Whale Adoption Project is the first humpback whale adoption program in the world; we have remained the best, as demonstrated by the number of whales who their original adopters have sponsored for almost 30 years. In 2014, WDC added two orcas to our adoptable whale family. Fife and Holly are welcome additions to our whale pod.
When you adopt a whale, you will receive a personalized certificate of adoption, your whale’s photograph, biography and family tree, fascinating facts and figures about orca whales, a map of their migratory path, and an orca sticker to show your support. You’ll also receive monthly updates and a WDC newsletter with information on how your adoption is helping to save whales and dolphins worldwide.
