Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) is the leading global non-profit dedicated to the conservation of whales, dolphins, and their ocean home. We work to ensure whales and dolphins can thrive as key contributors to our ecosystem. Your $5.00 donation helps us continue our ongoing work to protect whales and dolphins through outreach, policy, and science:

OUTREACH – Outreach is the thread that connects all of our work. We want to show everyone why whales and dolphins are so amazing. We are spreading the word about how important they are to our ecosystem and our planet through school programs, community engagements, and virtual presentations.

POLICY – Conservation lies on the shoulders of policy. We consult with state and federal agencies, run campaigns, and meet with lawmakers to increase protections for whales and dolphins. Right now that work is focused on the North Atlantic right whales who feed and raise their families all along the east coast of North America and the Southern Resident orcas who call the Pacific Northwest home.

SCIENCE – All of our work is based on sound science. We collect data, collaborate with researchers, and mentor the next generation of scientists. Our 2022 paid interns are joining us this March.
